Willa 'Mamma' Bea Barnett, born on September 3,1938, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, of the late Willie 'Buddy' Lee and Gustine 'Big Mamma' Hogan. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, veteran, Jimmie Barnett Jr.; brother, veteran, Robert 'Big Red' Hogan; grandson, Dorian Dillard and a countless number of loved family members and valued friends.

After marrying Jimmie Jr. in 1964, their family of seven ultimately relocated and called Phoenix their home 10 years later. Before retiring after 25 years as a Social Worker, with the State of Arizona, Willa Bea enjoyed sharing her experiences being a bus driver, and a security guard at a local high school; where she met some of her dearest friends and creating the house of B Naz.  A shop built in her own home, selling what she loves; beautiful and colorful hats, figurines and assorted trinkets.

Her love of service is what kept her fulfilled and busy until the very end. Willa Bea devoted her time giving back to the community.  From Cooking and delivering soup to an ill friend, or collecting clothes and donating them to multiple charities. She always came with a smile, an anecdote and making sure she left with a hug. Being a member of TREA, Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc (Gamma Theta Chapter), New Life Center and a handful of other community organizations she held dear to her heart made this possible.

Willa Bea passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2020. She is survived by her five children, Reggie, Rochelle, Rory,
Jimmie III (Denise), and Bianca (Roger Geissinger); 20 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
