Virginia Marjorie Wrobbel was born to Frank J. and Grace Gender Stiner,
April 8, 1919, at her home in Omega , OK, and died October 29, 2020, at the age of
101, in Kingfisher, OK. She lived nearly all of her life along Hwy. 33 west of Kingfisher.

Virginia attended Alpha and Omega schools growing up. She later met the love
of her life, Raymond Wrobbel, and they were married in 1936. She was a hard working
farmer's wife, doing chores and helping her husband and always adamant about
checking the oil in her lawn mower. She said that she loved to work and her advice
was "always be willing to work"; life required hard work.

In her early married days, one activity that she and Raymond especially enjoyed
doing with friends, was hosting 7 tables of bridge in their tiny 4 room house.
Afterwards they served a light meal at midnight! They also had many good times in
their square dance club.

Virginia enjoyed gardening and canning and was a charter member of the Sweet
Pea Garden Club. She was also a member of the Park Community Church and later the
Federated Church in Kingfisher actively involved in the church social and altar
committee and teaching Sunday school and Bible school. She helped with Meals on
Wheels, was active in Eastern Star, extension homemakers club, Brownie Scout leader
and volunteering at the KRH.

She was a proud mother of her children, Martha, Charles, and twins Karen and
Sharon. She attended livestock shows, athletic events, band activities, and helped
with whatever her children were participating in.

Her grandchildren were special to her and she made time for them when they
came to visit. She took them around to the farms checking fences, counting cattle,
putting out mineral, etc. And then, on occasion she would take them fishing . They had
fun having a picnic down in the pasture and then playing and swimming in the pond.
Her family could always count on a wonderful meal at Virginia's table. Favorites
of the family were her mac and cheese, cinnamon rolls, lemon meringue pie, German
pepper nut cookies, fried chicken, light rolls and of course mashed potatoes and gravy.
She hosted many extended family holiday dinners as well.

With a heart valve condition in the summer of 2011, she gladly chose to
participate in a study of a procedure not yet FDA approved called trans aortic valve
replacement. The procedure was successful for her and she was glad to contribute to
medical knowledge that ultimately benefitted so many others.

In her later years, she enjoyed the company of her dog, Willie, and watching
Thunder games on TV. She was able to live on the farm independently to age 99
before moving to Countrywood Assisted Living. She was a humble, hardworking,
positive person who had been blessed with an exceptionally healthy life! Amazing!!
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers Milton Stiner, Paul
Stiner and sister Opal Stiner.

She is survived by daughter, Martha Glazier; son, Charles Wrobbel (Sherry);
daughter Karen Edgar (Tom); daughter Sharon Gooden (Jim); all of Kingfisher. She is
survived by 10 grandchildren, Stephen Glazier, PhD. (Judy); David Glazier, (Hiromi);
Susan Glazier Post (Roger); Derek Wrobbel (Stacie); Sarah Wrobbel; Lori Seefeldt
Whitley, M.D.; Craig Seefeldt (Drea); Cindy Gooden Paty; Kristin Gooden Molloy (Allen,
M.D.); and Michael Gooden (Jennifer). 22 Great grandchildren: KenDale( (Ben),
Kedrian, Kelsey (Brian), Meg, Connor, Ben (Jordan), Adam (Hannah), Katie, Kayla,
Joshua, Marisa, Leah, Morgan, Kate, Claire, Addison, Toby, Alyse, Kyle, Shawn, Espe
and Emily. 3 Great great grandchildren: Caroline, Elizabeth, and Lincoln.
