Stephanie Wehrenberg, 64, of Kingfisher, Oklahoma, passed away on September 8, 2026.

Born September 24, 1961, Stephanie's journey took her through Utah, California, Colorado, and ultimately Oklahoma. Along the way, she built a life marked by creativity, perseverance, and an appreciation for the simple things that could be made beautiful with a little care.

Stephanie earned her GED and later attended cosmetology school in Colorado. Her talent eventually followed her to Freedom, Oklahoma, where she worked as a hairdresser and developed a clientele of her own. For Stephanie, doing hair was more than a trade; it gave her another way to create, connect with others, and leave things a little more beautiful than she found them.

On October 15, 2011, Stephanie married Donnie Wehrenberg in Freedom. Together, they moved to Kingfisher in May 2013 and began the next chapter of their lives.

Creativity followed Stephanie beyond her work. She loved putting her thoughts into poetry and her imagination onto paper through drawing. She found happiness among her plants, tending to them and watching them grow. She loved being in the kitchen as well, and few things could compete with her love of cooking a good pasta dish.

Stephanie was a mother of three and a grandmother of four and step-grandmother of five more. Her family became part of the story she spent a lifetime creating, and through them, pieces of her story will continue to be written.

She is survived by her husband, Donnie Wehrenberg; her children, Anthony (Brittany)Anderson, Courtney (Brady) Searle, and Tyler Anderson; her grandchildren; and siblings, Jennifer Page, Stuart Page, Debbie Spivey, and Loyd Barnard. She was preceded in death by her mother, Alma Jonnie Yearby, father Bill Orton, stepdad Mike Yearby, brother John Barnard and sister Debbie Page.

A life is made of more than dates and places. It is made of what someone loved, what they created, what they nurtured, and what they gave to the people around them. Stephanie leaves behind all of these things-in her family, her poetry and drawings, the plants she lovingly tended, and the memories carried by those who knew and loved her.
