Don George was born on September 16, 1949 at Granite City, Illinois to Roy and Wilma George. He had one sister, Theresa. He graduated from Kingfisher High School. He married Betty Gray in 1969. They had two sons, Donnie and Jamie and one daughter, Bridget. Don and Betty divorced in 1987. Don was a mechanic most of his life, he was self-employed and worked at Baustert Motor and Roy and Sons Salvage. He retired from Walmart where he worked as a janitor.
Don is survived by his sister, Theresa Pittman and husband Jerry; son, Donnie George and daughter, Bridget Palmer and husband Pete; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Wilma George and son, Jamie George.

Visitation will be from 2pm-6pm, Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Sanders Funeral Service.
Graveside service will be held at Kingfisher Cemetery, Monday January 29, at 2pm.
