Richard Joseph Alig passed away on Friday, July 10th, 2020 at the age of 64. Born in Okarche, Oklahoma, he was the son of Lawrence J. Alig and Jane Short Alig.  He was an active member of the Okarche and Oklahoma Rural Water Board as well as the Farm Bureau. Richard was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church where he loved singing in the Choir. He will be remembered for his kind and generous spirit.
He is survived by his Brother, Lawrence G. Alig and wife Tonya of Okarche, Brothers Dr. Kelley Alig and Matt Alig of Okarche; Niece, Jennifer J Brewer and Husband Brett, of Oklahoma City; Nephew, Jeremiah 'Jerry' Alig and Wife Sarah Constien Alig, as well as His Great Nephews, Jedediah and Josiah Alig, and Great Nieces Victoria, Nitara, Matilda, and Klara Alig all of Okarche.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Lawrence Joseph Alig and Jane Irene Short Alig, and his Brother, Thomas Eugene Alig.
Memorial Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Oklahoma Kidney Care Dialysis or the American Heart Association.
