Obituary

Peggy Colleen Thiems, was born 10-27-1940 to Paul Wayne & Melba Catherine Curtis in humble surroundings full of love. She attended grade school and high school in Dover, OK where she was FFA Sweetheart in 1956 and graduated with honors in 1958. Peggy gave her life to Jesus Christ on March 27, 1955 and as a born again believer she followed Christ the rest of her life. She shared the Love of Jesus with her family and others thru her actions and words. She met the love of her life while dragging main street in Kingfisher and was married on June 26, 1960 to Oscar Thiems in Dover, OK at the Christian Church. They celebrated 62 years of continuous love together this year. They raised 3 children, Monte Alan, Marla Anne and Marcia Lynn. She worked for Solomon Abstract for 40 years. She and Oscar retired together on April 1st, 2010 and traveled to many states. She enjoyed attending Southern Gospel Concerts, playing cards and dominos with family and friends, attending grandchildren and great-grandchildren events, playing Mexican Train Dominos at Senior Fun Night at the church, cooking wonderful meals for family and friends and having coloring parties with her great-grandchildren. Everyone who knew her loved her and she had the sweetest spirit, always selfless and caring. She enjoyed eating at Charlestons which was her favorite restaurant. Her children, grandchildren & great grandchildren were her pride & joy. She was the best mother to her kids & a wonderful friend to everyone who knew her. Momma was adored by her children, she was their biggest cheerleader, encourager and prayer warrior.
She entered Jesus' Glory on November 7, 2022 at the age of 82. The survivors who will miss her dearly are her husband, Oscar of 62 years, children, Monte Alan & Sandy of Owasso, Marla Anne Pringnitz & Doug of Kingfisher and Marcia Lynn Caldwell & Mike of Yukon. Sister, Marlita Peters & Orval of Kingfisher and Sister-in-laws, Christine Curtis of Mustang & Ellen Louise Curtis of Enid. Grandchildren are Zac Thiems of Owasso, Sarah Thiems of Houston, Texas. Mark Pringnitz & Heather of Kingfisher, Conner Pringnitz & Jessica of Okarche. Katelynn Caldwell of Yukon, Austin Caldwell of Yukon. Great grandchildren, Hadlee & Henslee Pringnitz, Brylinn Pringnitz, Cashton Caldwell, many nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews and many special friends.
She is proceeded in death by her parents Paul & Melba Curtis, brothers Wayne & Marvin Curtis and grandson Jordan Micheal Caldwell.
