Obituary

Mary Ann "Boutwell" Mullins, age 74, passed away on October 15, 2020 at the Kingfisher Mercy Hospital, Kingfisher, OK after a brief illness. She was born November 6, 1946 at Kingfisher Community Hospital in Kingfisher, OK, to Leonard and Florence Boutwell. Her and her family moved to Enid, OK in 1954, establishing a home there for 25 years.

In 1979 she moved with her family to Halfway, OR. After the death of her father in 1982, she and her family moved back to Kingfisher, OK in 1990, leaving behind a brother, Homer and wife Debbie Lynn Boutwell with their 2 daughters having established a home in Halfway, OR

Mary Ann worked as a certified nurse aide at First Shamrock Care Center, and Cimarron Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, along side her brother Merle Boutwell. Mary Ann and her family moved to Richmond, Kentucky in 1994. In 2006, Mary Ann's family moved back to Oklahoma consisting of her Mother Florence Boutwell, Brothers Merle and wife Brenda Carol Boutwell, Marvin and wife Birdie Marie Boutwell, and Gerald "Fred" Boutwell. Mary Ann stayed behind in Richmond, Kentucky until 2016, when she moved back to Kingfisher, OK, where due to circumstances, she became a resident of Cimarron Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Mary Ann was a very friendly, loving and caring woman. She loved people. She was a devout Christian, strong in her faith, and she loved, loved the Lord. She never hesitated to share the Lord with a multitude of others. Her favorite songs were Amazing Grace, Looking For That City, and When They Ring Those Golden Bells.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Florence Boutwell; 2 brothers, Marvin Boutwell and Gerald "Fred" Boutwell; 2 sisters in laws, Debbie Lynn Boutwell and Brenda Carol Boutwell.

Surviving family members are; 2 brothers; Merle Boutwell of Enid, OK and Homer Boutwell of Halfway, OR, 2 nieces; Angela and husband J.P. Binford of Halfway, OR and Teresa and husband Paul Kelly of Athena, OR, great nephews, Elijah and Noah Kelly, great niece Candice and husband Zach Reinhardt with their children Sadie and Madison, great nephew Timothy and wife Jessica Binford with their children Wesley and Abigail and a host of cousins.

Interment will be in Kingfisher Cemetery, Kingfisher, OK.

Family graveside services are pending under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service.
