Martha K. Vorderlandwehr was born on March 16, 1950, to William "Bill"
and Mildred Vorderlandwehr in Kingfisher, OK. Martha passed away on
September 1, 2022, at the age of 72 in Cimmaron Nursing Center in Kingfisher.
She was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Mildred, as well as her two
siblings Phillip Vorderlandwehr and Barbara Beauchamp. Martha was never
married and did not have any children of her own. She dearly loved her nieces and
nephews; Robert Beauchamp (deceased), Donald Beauchamp, Durrell Beauchamp,
Melissa Hamil, Tony Beauchamp, Steven Vorderlandwehr, James Vorderlandwehr
and Ann Burpo. Martha's love and compassion extended beyond her nieces and
nephews to numerous great nieces, nephews and their children.

Martha spent her career as a cook at Gilmore Elementary in Kingfisher
Public Schools where she was able to show her love and care to generations of
children. Martha worked nearly thirty years for Kingfisher Public Schools before
her retirement. After retirement, Martha worked at Wal-Mart as a cashier and
continued to serve and impact her community. Martha was an avid bowler, as well
as, an expert in crochet and cross-stitch, which she enjoyed in her free time.
Martha was also a devout catholic and was a member of the congregation at Sts.
Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Beyond her love for the catholic church and her
hobbies, her true passion was to spend time with her family and friends. She was a
generous and kind soul, and was always willing to give to those less fortunate than
herself. Martha regularly cooked for the family, local events, holidays, and entirely for
the enjoyment of giving to others.

Martha was kind-hearted, compassionate and loving. Her sense of humor
was infectious and she always had a smile on her face. She intensely cared for
those in her life and was invested in being a historian of her lineage. Martha has
now left us to join the Lord and all of the family and friends that have been waiting
to greet her in Heaven. Her soul is carried on within our hearts, and she will be
deeply missed.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church 309 S. Main St., Kingfisher, OK on Tuesday, September 6th, 2022 at 10:30 AM under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service.
