Marianne Marie
Hamilton
Aug 12, 1979 — Jul 19, 2025
Marianne Marie Hamilton, 45, of Kingfisher, OK, died July 19, 2025. She brought joy into the world on August 12, 1979, in Kingfisher, Oklahoma, born to Patrick Hamilton of Elk City, Oklahoma, and Renee Buckman Hamilton of Fort Belknap, Montana. Marianne remained a cherished resident of her hometown, Kingfisher, throughout her life. Her educational journey took her through Kingfisher Public Schools and extended to the University of Oklahoma, Rose State College, and Redlands Community College, where she earned an Associate's degree in Business Administration.
With an outgoing spirit, Marianne found purpose in her work. She was employed at the Lucky Star Casino and later as a dedicated caseworker for the Cheyenne and Arapaho's Dreams Program. Her passion for empowering young people made her work in the Dreams Program especially fulfilling. Marianne was also OSHA certified.
Beyond her professional life, she loved to travel, participate in traditional ways, including sweats and peyote meetings, and loved attending powwows. She enjoyed cooking delicious meals and, above all, spent precious moments with her two young grandsons, Tristen and Wesley Altizer, ages 2 and 3.
Marianne is survived by her sons, Laudie Hamilton and William Altizer, both of Kingfisher, Oklahoma, and their father, Charles Altizer of Lexington, Georgia. She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings: Janene Hamilton, Shayla Hamilton, and Kristy Hamilton, all of Kingfisher, Oklahoma, and Joseph Starr of Moore, Oklahoma, and Shane Hamilton and other family members in Montana.
She was reunited in passing with her mother, Renee Hamilton; her grandmother, Esther Hamilton; her grandfather, Albert Hamilton; her uncles, Albert Jr. and Paul Hamilton; and her niece, Sweetwater Hamilton, who preceded her in death.
