Marcella Pauline Whorley, 96, of Crescent, OK, died June 29, 2024. She was born on July 23, 1927, in Kingfisher, Oklahoma, to August F. Emmerich and Rose M. (Biller) Emmerich.

Marcella married Melvin E. Whorley on September 5, 1946, at St. Francis Xavier in Enid, Oklahoma.

She was employed at Conoco Oil Company in Ponca City, Oklahoma, for 31 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin; four brothers, Victor, Frank, Robert, and Richard; and two sisters, Mary Agnes Mangum and Esther Potts.

She is survived by her brother, Charles Emmerich, and wife, Janice, of Crescent, OK, eight nieces and nephews, and many great-nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church 309 S. Main Kingfisher, OK, with burial to follow at Kingfisher Cemetery under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service.
