Malvin Frank Kadavy, 90, of Kingfisher, passed away on April 17, 2021. He was born June 12, 1930 in Kingfisher to Jerry and Mary Kadavy. He was born on the family farm east of Kingfisher that his grandfather homesteaded in the Run of 1889. He graduated from Big 4 high school in 1948. Malvin married Jneanne Cunningham on February 22, 1953 at the First United Methodist Church. Malvin farmed the family homestead growing wheat, raising cattle and operating a dairy. His farming was interrupted by a two-year term of service in the army.

Malvin was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He served as president of Kingfisher County Farmers Union, was a member of the Oklahoma Wheat Growers Association, and served on the Big 4 Board of Education. He enjoyed polka dancing, playing pitch, drawing cartoons, and drinking coffee with his buddies at the local Co-op. After retiring from farming, Malvin enjoyed travelling throughout the US on mystery coach tours.

Malvin is survived by Jneanne of the home, daughter Jana Wilburn and husband Steve of Woodward, sons Jerry Kadavy and wife Kathy of Kingfisher, Kevin Kadavy and wife Lisa of Edmond, Kent Kadavy and wife Denna of Kingfisher, grandchildren Andrew Kadavy and wife Daysi of Houston Texas, Charles Ramsdell of Edmond, Marie Lewis and husband Trey of Alexandria, Virginia, Katie White and husband Edric of Woodward, Jessica Kadavy of Tulsa, Kaleb Kadavy of Oklahoma City and five great-grandchildren. Malvin is also survived by sisters Norma Fetzer of Bethany and Mary Jane Svejkovsky and husband Don of Yukon, brother-in-law Clifton Verhines of Kingfisher and sister-in-law Elaine Kadavy of Loyal.

Malvin was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Milton Kadavy, Fred Kadavy and Stanley Kadavy, sister Pauline Verhines, and grandson Joe Wilburn.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday 2:00PM April 21, 2021 at the First United Methodist Church in Kingfisher, OK 73750 under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service. Interment will follow at the Kingfisher Cemetery.
