Linda Kay (Bishop) Varner, of Norman, passed from this life on February 16, 2023, at the age of 75. She was born to Osborne and Lillian Bishop in Enid, Oklahoma Oct. 11, 1947. She was raised in Oklahoma, attending various public schools throughout the state moving consistently because of her father's profession. She graduated with the Class of 1967 from Norman High School, and she was a healthcare and warehouse worker during her life. In her final years, Linda was independent, and enjoyed playing with her dog Abby, and spending time with her friends at Wyndam Place Senior Apartments where she lived for the last 10 years. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her sister Janet Lynn Bishop; two brothers-in-law, Lynn T. Tompkins and Bobby A. Gill; Left to carry on her legacy are her daughters, Jennifer Lynn Green and her husband Kerry D. Green of Norman and Denise Kay Kliewer and her husband Brian Scott Kliewer of East Wenatchee WA; two grandchildren Dylan and Makenna, two nieces, one nephew, as well as other family and friends. A graveside service for Linda will be held at 1 p.m. on February 21, 2023 at Kingfisher Cemetery, Kingfisher, Oklahoma.
