Letha Frances Boyle Schulz was born on March 11, 1933, in Rosston, Oklahoma, to Carter Glen and Sylvia Ochle (Duvall) Boyle. She passed away peacefully on September 18, 2025, in Oklahoma City.

Letha attended schools in the Rosston area, as well as in Bison and Waukomis—where she met the love of her life, Merle Schulz. She completed her high school education at Enid High School, where she was honored to serve as May Queen of the senior class of 1951.

On August 11, 1951, Letha married Merle Schulz in Enid, Oklahoma. They shared 50 wonderful years of marriage and were blessed with two children: Dennis, born in Leadville, Colorado, and Denise, born in Enid.

Letha worked for many years at the Garfield County Courthouse in both the Assessor's and County Clerk's offices. Later, Merle's work took them to Jenks and Mannford, Oklahoma. Upon retirement, the couple moved to Kingfisher to be closer to their children and grandchildren.

Letha and Merle were baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Garber, Oklahoma, and later transferred their membership to Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Kingfisher, where they found a welcoming church home.

Letha was preceded in death by her beloved husband Merle, her parents, and her sisters Louise Hoskins, Lois Venable, and Glenda Burdg.

She is survived by her children Dennis (Dedra) Schulz and Denise (Ralph) Harrison; grandchildren Desiree (Shawn) Roberson, Carmen (Shawn) Fore, Isaac (Catey) Schulz, Jennifer (Jeff) Bauman, Kristin (Tommy) Montarella, and Jared (Jessica) Harrison; great-grandchildren Zac Roberson, Tanner Fore, Shelbi (Seth) Urbina, Savannah Schulz, Brandon (Ashton) Bauman, Brooke (Que) Overton, Hannah Bauman, Will Bauman, Myles Harrison, Finley Harrison, Dakota (Destini) Harrison, and Makenna Montarella; and great-great-grandchildren Wallace Urbina, baby girl Charlotte Urbina (due in January), Jack Bauman, Kalvin Bauman, Beckham Overton, and Vivian Harrison.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 23, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Kingfisher, with interment to follow at Kingfisher Cemetery, under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service.
