Leslie RedBird was born on June 14,1952 in Kingfisher, OK to Allen and Vivian TallBull RedBird. Leslie began his journey on July 6, 2021 from Oklahoma City, OK. Leslie was in the 45th National Guard then transferred over to the United States Army in 1973. Leslie had worked in security at Concho, OK and in Louisiana as well. Leslie is survived by his daughter, Marion RedBird of Watonga, OK; and longtime companion, Wanda Pawnee of the home; 4 brothers, Allen RedBird of Lawrence, KS, George and John RedBird both of Elreno, OK and Thomas Hill of Norman, OK; Sisters, Irene Deer of Kingfisher, OK, Caroline Smith of Kingfisher, OK, Wilma RedBird of Weatherford, OK, Helen Botone of Moore, OK, Mary Stoneroad of Elreno,OK, Lura Whiteplum of Riverton, WY; 5 grandchildren, Nigel Hampton, Bless RedBird, Elena and Morning Dove Quezada and Jaden WhiteEagle. He also leaves behind many nephews and nieces.
Leslie is proceeded in death by his parents, Allen and Vivian RedBird; one son, Willian Allen RedBird "WAR"; one brother, Emmett Red Bird,Sr.; three sisters, Virginia RedBird Woods, Betty RedBird RomanNose, Vickie Ellen RedBird; 1 nephew, Allen Emon RomanNose; 2 granddaughters, Stephanie and Nancy Ponce, 3 great grandchildren, Amylah Dawn, Gunner Ray and Marley Jean RedBird…The RedBird family would like to say Thank You for the Prayers and kind words of comfort during the loss of our Brother, Father, Uncle and Grandpa…
