Kenneth Clifford Murray,
known to friends as "Murph", passed away on Friday, April 2nd 2021 in Kingfisher, Oklahoma at his home surrounded by family. He was 75 years old.
Graveside services are set for 2 p.m. Thursday, April 8th, at Kingfisher Cemetery under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service with Pastor Philip Wilson officiating.
He was born on July 11th, 1945 in Douglas, Arizona. Born & raised by his beloved Mother Inez Bell (Macy) Kordis & his loving Father Arthur Kordis.
Kenneth was known as a hard worker. He worked for many years as a pipeline inspector for Phillips Petroleum & Parnell Construction.
Kenneth was in the Army National guard for 6 years from 1968 to 1974 & a member of the local Kingfisher Elks Lodge for 20 Years.
He had a passion for showing horses with his friends for many years. In his free time he loved to spend time with his Family, watching OU Football & enjoyed doing crosswords. He enjoyed reading anything on quarter horses, watching all football & horse races. He enjoyed keeping in touch with friends on the phone & helping people when he could. He will be greatly missed especially by his Grandaughter Paysha who he was very close to. One of his highlights later in his life was being a Grampy. Many of those that have spoke about him have regarded him as a generous soul that would help anyone that he could. Such a fun loving guy & easy to love. His kindness & smile will always be remembered by all.
Kenneth is survived by his daughter Kenna Jo of Oklahoma City, his son, Cody Murray and wife Tabitha of Kingfisher & son, Sonny Murray and wife Cassie of Kingfisher. Four granddaughters & one grandson. Grampy to granddaughter Paysha K Murray. Grandpa to granddaughters Leni, Paige & Sloan Murray. Grandpa to Grandson Max Murray. Four brothers all of Oklahoma. Brother, Darryl Murray & wife Elaine of Dover Oklahoma. Brother, Ronnie Murray and wife Sherry of Cashion Oklahoma. Brother, Bill Kordis of Cashion Oklahoma & wife Sheryl. Brother, Charles Kordis SR. and wife Sherry of Cashion Oklahoma. And numerous nephews, nieces & cousins.
He is preceded in death by both his parents, brother John Murray & other loved ones.
