Katherine (Kathy) A. Moore passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 5th, 2021 at the age of 77.

Katherine grew up living on her family farm with her mother, father and brother. She graduated from Holy Trinity High School and attended a business school in Tulsa, OK.

Katherine married Gene Gilles and together, they raised their four boys; Francis, Mark, Keith and Brian.

Katherine spent many years working for the Okarche Public School system. She loved to share stories of hauling the Warriors across Oklahoma to various games and tournaments. She worked for Walmart in Kingfisher and Lucky Star Casino, 2 positions that allowed her to do what she loved, visiting with people and staying current on affairs.

Katherine was a longtime member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Okarche. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother. She treasured her family and embraced every moment with them. She spent countless hours on the sidelines cheering on her kids and grandkids at every sporting event they had, whether it be supporting the Okarche Warriors or the Kingfisher Yellowjackets.

Katherine loved to travel. She was ready for adventure at a moment's notice. In 2012, Katherine treated her family to a vacation in Hawaii, marking this as her 50th state to visit.

Katherine is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Anna (Vogt) Annuschat, brother James Annuschat and husbands Gene Gilles and Joseph Hoehner.

She is survived by husband Danny Moore and her four sons and their families; Francis and Deborah Gilles, Jake, McKenna and Trey; Mark and Sharlotte Gilles; Keith and DeAnna Gilles, Dillon (Rebecca) and step-granddaughter Kailey Morse and Brian and Tiffany Gilles, Coleman and Adian.

The rosary and funeral service to celebrate her life will both be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church at 211 Missouri Ave. Okarche, Oklahoma.

The Rosary is set for Monday, January 11th, 2021 at 7:00pm at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 211 Missouri Ave. Okarche, Oklahoma.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, January 12th, 2021 at 10:30am Holy Trinity Catholic Church at 211 Missouri Ave. Okarche, Oklahoma under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service of Kingfisher, OK.

The Interment will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery.

Katherine was known and loved by many. She never met a stranger and will be dearly missed.

The family requests that masks be worn during visitation at Sanders Funeral Home and during services held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
