Karina Saldana Castro, 38, passed away April 15, 2023 in Omega, Oklahoma. She was born January 13, 1985 in San Luis Potosi S.L.P Mexico to Jose de Jesus Saldana Vargas and Ma Regina Castro Salazar. She was a loving wife to Froylan Rivera and was a mother to four wonderful children. Karina met her husband in Mexico and got together a few months later and they followed the American dream. Once arrived family helped them get to Arkansas. This is where they had their first daughter, Dafne Kelly. Later they moved to Kingfisher and later to Omega, OK. This is where they had their youngest kids, Diego and Froylan. A couple of years later they decided to unite in marriage. They got married at St Joseph Catholic Church in 2013. One of her biggest dreams was to get a beautiful home of their own and with a lot of hard work they bought it in Omega, OK where they quickly became part of a beautiful community. She worked cleaning houses and churches nearby. She was a hard-working woman. She put her best effort in everything that she did. She was an outgoing person and loved making everyone laugh. It didn't matter if she was having a bad day, she would always have a smile on her face. She had a very contagious smile and just by entering the room she would light up that room and would make everyone and anyone feel welcomed. Karina enjoyed going to all her kid's games, she would always be on a bench cheering them on. She was their number one fan and supporter. Karina loved listening to music, Eminem was her favorite artist and Selena. She also enjoyed listening to Don Cheto, her favorite thing to do after the show was over was to call her siblings to talk about the radio show and how funny his topics of the day was. Her favorite color is pink, and her hobbies were playing word scape with baby and scrolling through Facebook commenting on her friend's posts leaving funny and loving comments. Even though everyone says she has 4 kids in reality she had 5, her youngest was her baby cat bolillo. Karina loved spending time with all her family and sharing a glass of Stella Rose wine. She was a true friend to many.
Karina is survived by her husband, Froylan Rivera; Children, Carlos, Dafne, Diego and Froylan; Parents, Ma Regina and Jose de Jesus Saldana; 7 siblings, Rocio, Griselda, Gabriel, Rafa, Oscar, Rufino and Jose.
Mass of Christian Burial for Karina will be 11:00am, Monday, April 24, 2023 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Kingfisher, OK with burial following at Kingfisher Cemetery in Kingfisher, OK.

Karina Saldana Castro, de 38 años, falleció el 15 de abril de 2023 en Omega, Oklahoma. Karina nació el 13 de enero de 1985 en San Luis Potosí, México de José de Jesús Saldana Vargas y Ma Regina Castro Salazar. Fue una esposa amorosa para Froylan Rivera y madre de 4 hijos maravillosos. Karina tuvo a su primer hijo, Juan Carlos Saldana, cuando tenía 16 años. Posteriormente Karina y su esposo se conocieron en México donde se juntaron y meses después decidieron seguir el sueño americano. Una vez que llegaron a los Estados Unidos, la familia los ayudó a llegar a Arkansas, donde tuvieron a su primer hijo juntos, Dafne Kelly. Un par de años más tarde se mudaron a Loyal, Oklahoma y eventualmente terminaron en su hogar actual en Omega, Oklahoma. Aquí es donde tuvieron a sus dos hijos menores, Diego y Froylan. En 2013 decidieron unirse en matrimonio en la Iglesia Católica St Joseph en Hennessy, Oklahoma.

Uno de los sueños más grandes de Karina era tener una hermosa casa propia. Con mucho trabajo duro pudieron comprar una casa en Omega, Oklahoma, donde rápidamente se convirtieron en parte de una hermosa comunidad. Trabajó limpiando casas e iglesias cercanas. Era una mujer muy trabajadora. Ella puso su mejor esfuerzo en todo. Era una persona extrovertida y le encantaba hacer reír a todo el mundo. No importaba si estaba teniendo un mal día, iluminaría la habitación y haría que todos y cada uno se sintieran bienvenidos.

Karina disfrutó de ir a todos los juegos y eventos de sus hijos en la escuela, siempre estaba junto a ellos animándolos. Ella era su partidaria y fan número uno. A Karina le encantaba escuchar música, Eminem y Selena era su artista favorita. También disfrutó escuchando a Don Cheto, lo que más le gustaba hacer después de que terminaba el programa de radio era llamar a sus hermanos para hablar sobre el programa y lo divertidos que eran sus temas del día. Su color favorito era el rosa, y sus pasatiempos eran jugar a las palabras con el bebé y desplazarse por Facebook para comentar en la publicación de su amiga y dejar comentarios divertidos y cariñosos.
Aunque todos saben que Karina tuvo 4 hijos en realidad tuvo 5. Su bebé más joven y mimado fue Bolillo, su gato bebé. A Karina le encantaba pasar tiempo con toda su familia y compartir una copa de vino Stella Rose. Era una querida amiga de muchos.

A Karina le sobrevive su esposo; Froylán Rivera, Niños; Carlos, Dafne, Diego y Froylan, Padres; Ma Regina y Jose de Jesus Saldana, y 7 hermanos; Rocío, Griselda, Gabriel, Rafa, Óscar, Rufino y José.
