Karen Kay Gibson-Taylor, 53, Kingfisher, was born on December 30, 1964 to Dale Gibson and Linda Roark Gibson, and departed this world on October 28, 2018 in Oklahoma City, OK. She attended Kingfisher schools and graduated in 1983. During that time she was a member of the First Baptist Church. Later in 1983 she married Rocky Jeter and they had a daughter, Rockelle Jeter. She was later united in marriage to Gary Don Taylor, and to this union was born Ryan Taylor and Bailey Taylor. She owned and operated a dog grooming salon for many years in Bethany, OK. Her love for animals was her deepest passion. She is survived by her mother, Linda Sue Robison, of Kingfisher, brother, Kris Gibson and wife Becky, of Kingfisher, daughters Rockelle Ketcham, of Kingfisher, and Bailey Burpo, of Oklahoma City, son Ryan Taylor and wife Jennifer, of Yukon. Grandchildren Clayton and Keaton Abercrombie, Kyte, Cole and Bree Yost, all of Kingfisher. Payden Taylor, of Okarche, and Emmalee, Kynnlee and HunterRay, of Yukon. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Dale Ray Gibson, and her sister, Kymbrali Dale Damiano. The funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church of Kingfisher, Friday, November 2, 2018 at 2pm. Burial at Kingfisher Cemetery immediately following.
