Jon Cochran Jr. went to his heavenly home on June 10, 2022. Jonny was born to Jon and Dorene Cochran of Loyal on October 16, 1963, at Kingfisher.

He attended Lomega Schools graduating in 1981. He worked for Sooner Coop in Loyal until an accident ended his career. He was a member of the Loyal Volunteer Fire Department serving as Chief for several years. He was proud of the advances the fire department made during his time as chief. He was a member of Loyal United Methodist Church. He was an avid cook and loved to farm. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting. Jon loved his family. Jon was married to Kandy Harrell in 1996. With this marriage, he became a proud father to Stephanie and Nicole.

Jon was preceded in death by his grandparents Kermit Sr. and Dora Glazier and Ralph and Grace Cochran.

He is survived by his parents, Jon and Dorene Cochran of Loyal, his ex-wife Kandy Cochran of Kingfisher, daughter Stephanie and Scot Farrell of Kingfisher and grandkids Madison of Enid, Mia and Christian of the home, daughter Nicole and Eric Eaton of Caldwell, KS and grandkids Sam, Keelen, Zack and Channing of the home, many aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends.

Memorials can be made to Loyal United Methodist Church memorial fund. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 14 from 12 pm-6 pm at Sanders Funeral Service.  Graveside service will be at 10:00 am, Wednesday, June 15 at Venable Cemetery with a memorial service following at Loyal United Methodist Church.
