Jimmy Wayne Hill was born November 6, 1946, to Lloyd L. Hill and Bessie Marie Taylor Hill in Enid Oklahoma. He graduated from Drummond High School and attended OSU Tech Okmulgee. Jimmy was Honorably discharged from the National Guard and the Army Reserve 17151 Field Artillery where he attained an ES Sargent rank.
Jimmy married Linda Marie Hansens on October 28, 1967 at The Federated Church in Kingfisher. They made their home in Kingfisher, Oklahoma for over 50 years.
Jimmy worked numerous jobs over the years. He worked as an Equipment Operator for the State of Oklahoma for 5 years. Owens Supply Company for 13 years as a salesman over 5 counties. He also worked 23 years in car and truck sales at many local car dealerships. He earned many awards including the honor club in Chevrolet Truck Sales and Legends of Diamond Leaders 300 and 500 for the Ford Motor Company.
He bowled locally on the Roadrunners Team. He is a member of the Kingfisher Cattleman's Association and American Legion Post #5. He was a member of The Federated Church of Kingfisher for 51 years where he served on the church board, as a choir member, and played on their softball team at one time.
Jimmy enjoyed hunting and fishing with his kids, grandkids, and many friends. He also enjoyed visiting and drinking coffee at the 'Round Table' with his many friends.
He crossed over into heaven peacefully at his home on Saturday, September 15, 2018.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Linda Hill; son, Jason Hill and wife Melissa; daughter, Amber Mills and Fiance Benjamin Ballard; son, Johnathan Hill, all of Kingfisher. Five grandchildren: Jeremiah, Jodie and Lillie Hill; Logan and Taylor Mills.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, William Earl Hill and Junior Lloyd Hill.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018, at 10 am at The Federated Church of Kingfisher under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service, with Rev. Eric Joppa and Adam Click officiating. Interment will be in the Kingfisher Cemetery.
