On Tuesday, September 17, 2019, Jeannetta J. Kottwitz passed away at the age of 79 at Countrywood Assisted Living. Jeannetta was born May 30, 1940 in Kingfisher to Joesph Ellyson and Joyce Ziegelgruber Ellyson.

A longtime resident of Kingfisher, Jeannetta attended the Federated Church, graduated from Kingfisher High School, and received an Associates Degree from Redlands Community College. She spent her working years in the banking business being employed at KB&T that later became BancFirst and retiring from NBC Oklahoma.

On December 31, 1979, Jeannetta married Monroe Kottwitz. Her husband preceded her in death along with her parents, Joesph and Joyce Ellyson.

Jeannetta is survived by one sister, Clairetta and husband Wayne Lowe of Kingfisher. Her three children include Mark and wife, Lynn Wendt, of Kingfisher, Sheila and husband, Mark Redwine, of Kingfisher, and Dawn and husband, Jim Tillson, of Ada and grandchildren Heath Redwine, Drew Redwine, Kaci Murray, Kari Cooper, Lauren Niblett, James Tillison, and Jakob Tillson. Great grandchildren include Kye, Kru, Conway, Emma, Brooklyn, Camryn, Scarlett, and Annie Kate. She is also survived with numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside service for Jeannetta will be 2:00 Thursday, September 19 ^th , 2019 at the Kingfisher Cemetery with Chaplin Ron Horn officiating.
