Hugo Valles Herrera "El Muchacho Alegre" age 25 formerly of Hennessey, OK passed away July 23, 2021. He graduated from Hennessey High School in 2014. He was a part of the 2010 and 2011 state championship in football as well as the 2013 state track and field championship. Hugo was Honor Roll and Class Valedictorian of 2014. He received his bachelor's degree from the University Of Central Oklahoma with a degree in Industrial Safety. He proceeded a successful career working for Mallory a contracting company for Vestas.

Hugo was survived by his parents Hugo & Norma Valles Herrera, sister Odalys Valles Herrera, grandparents Maria Rodriguez de Herrera and Trinidad Valles, and numerous other family members.

Hugo was a family-oriented man. He cared for everyone around him and made an impression wherever he went. He was charismatic, and people gravitated toward him and his charming personality. He was always willing to lend out a helping hand no matter the situation. He loved to gather family and friends and celebrate life every chance he got. He will be remembered as a friend to all, brother, mentor, and beloved son.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering on Thursday, July 29th from 5 pm through Friday the 30th. His traditional religious church funeral service will be Saturday, July 31, 2021, at 10:30 am. All his services will all be held at his beloved ranch home at 6072 N 2830 RD Hennessey, OK 73742 with interment to follow at Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service.
