Obituary

Henry Lee Andrews, 93, passed away to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, November 3, 2025, after a short stay at Integris Hospital.

Henry was born to H.E. and Lagolia Andrews on August 13, 1932. He was born at home in rural Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.

Henry served in the U.S. Army for 2 years during the Korean War. He was stationed in England primarily but also served in Germany and France during that time.

After returning home from his service in the military, Henry married Phama Marie Rhodes on September 30, 1955 in Wichita, Kansas. They moved to Dover, OK in 1961. Henry was a general contractor, building and remodeling residential and commercial buildings. After working construction during the day, he worked on the family farm. After retiring from construction, he devoted his time to farming and raising cattle with his son and grandson until his death. Henry spent his life devoted to his family and his faith.

Henry was preceded in death by his wife Phama, parents, a sister and brother-in-law, Deloris and Junior Mullins, and a brother-in-law, Dean Tate.

He is survived by his two children: Mike and wife Rondi Andrews of Dover, and Janice Andrews and husband Richard Alexander of Kingfisher; four grandchildren, Darrin and wife Laura Foster of Ada, Mica Andrews of Ponca City, Rachel and husband Ben Selfridge of Ada, and Mark and wife Staci Andrews of Kingfisher; six great-grandchildren, Dax Foster, Reed and Rory Selfridge, and Kate, Hadley, and Lucy Andrews; sibling Goldie Tate of Yukon. He was also survived by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations in Henry's name be made to the Kingfisher County Food Bank, P.O. Box 92, Kingfisher, OK 73750.

Funeral services will be 10:00am, Thursday, November 6, 2025, at the First Baptist Church in Kingfisher with burial following at Kingfisher Cemetery. Under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service.
