Harvey (Bud) West Jr.

Bud was born June 22, 1948 to Harvey and Irene West in Leavenworth, Kansas. He departed this life on May 22, 2020 at Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Bud married the love of his life, Vickie Stewart, on January 1st, 1974 and together they have three daughters and six grandkids. Bud served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and was truck driver for 30 years. He loved wood working like his father as well as barbecues with his family. Bud loved his community and never met a stranger. He was a member of Kingfisher Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed sharing the gospel with everyone.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents, and three sisters, Barbra Stevens, Deloris Redwine and Hazel Mullins.

He was survived by; his wife, Vickie West; three daughters and son-in-laws, April and Brandon Brock, Shannon and Bradley Logan, Jessica and Matthew Blackwood; his grandchildren, Madison, Brayden, Isaiah, Kennedy, Reagan and Eleanor; two sisters, Darlene Brown and Midge McAlvain. As well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. All he loved dearly.

A visitation for Bud West will be held at Sanders Funeral Service in Kingfisher on Wednesday, May 27th from 2pm-5pm(Funeral Home visitation will be limited to 10 people at a time).

Funeral service will be held at Kingfisher Church of the Nazarene on Thursday, May 28th at 10 am. Interment will follow at Kingfisher Cemetery with military tribute under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service.
