George Bennett Pickle, (Ben), passed away August 22, 2019 in Kingfisher, OK. Ben was born June 20, 1965, to Bill & Marilyn Pickle. Ben grew up on the family farm northwest of Dover and attended Dover Public Schools from kindergarten through 12th grade.

After graduation, Ben went to work in the oil field for Farrar Construction. He became an exceptional heavy equipment operator and enjoyed the many years he spent working the pipeline circuit throughout the Midwest, working in the states of Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, New Mexico, Idaho and Wyoming. Ben came back to Oklahoma and finished his career working for his cousins at Farrar Construction. He enjoyed working for Randy, Steve, Mark, and Tyler Farrar.

Ben's greatest enjoyment was his children & grandchildren and loved each dearly. Ben also loved to cook, raise a garden, and fish. He found a new enjoyment volunteering to help the Dover Christian Church during vacation bible school.

Ben was a loving husband, son, brother, father, and grandfather. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

Ben was preceded in death by his father, Bill. He is survived by his mother, Marilyn Pickle of Dover, wife, Priscilla of the home, his children, daughter, Calley, son, Buddy, daughter, Madilyn, & granddaughters, Brooklyn & Bailey, Brother, Charlie & wife, Alma, of Dover, Brother, Terry Pickle & wife, Darlene, of Cumby, TX, sister, Vickie Maesias, of El Paso, TX, and a large extended family of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, along with many friends.

A memorial service will be held, Tuesday, August 27, 2019, at 11:00 am at the Dover Christian Church in Dover, OK. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to aid with medical expenses sent in care of Dover Christian Church, 101 Oak St, Dover, OK 73734.
