Doris Lee Smith

Doris Lee Smith, 92 of Kingfisher, OK died Sunday, July 3, 2022.
She was born on April 1oth, 1930 in Kingfisher, OK to Wilber John and Hazel M. Wakeman. She was one of three children.

Doris Graduated from Big Four High school and attended Oklahoma State University for one year.

She was married to Orval Dillard Smith in Kingfisher, OK on June 4th, 1950 and they raised four children.

Doris was a homemaker her entire life and was a secretary at Aero Sprayers for several years. She loved camping and being with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She served as a Sunday school teacher for several years and greatly enjoyed the senior luncheons at the church while she was able to go. Doris did not want to be done for, she felt she should be doing for others.

Doris is survived by her children; Charlette Elmore and husband Ross, Dr. John Smith and wife Cindy, Kimberly Smith, daughter-in-law Vicki Smith, Grandchildren Dawn Everett and husband Rob, Jeff Smith and wife Jamey, Marcus Finley, Keven Smith, Dr. Jamie Wallace and husband Rowland, and great grandchildren Molly Lakin, Matthew Lakin, Kaitlyn Smith, Kamryn Smith, Maggie Lakin, Kylie Smith, Kenzi Smith, Jase Wallace and Paige Wallace, sister Claudette Barker and husband Fred and sister-in-law Evelyn Allen.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Orval Smith, Son, Dr. Jim D. Smith, and sister, Norma June Ray.

The Memorial Service will be July 9th, 10:00AM at the Federated Church in Kingfisher, OK 400 W. Fay, Kingfisher, OK 73750 with Rev. Luke Aadalen officiating.
Services are being handled by Sanders Funeral Service of Kingfisher, OK 73750.
