On Thursday, March 31st, 2022, Don Allen Bernhardt passed away at the age of 65.
Don was born on October 25th, 1956 to George Bernhardt and Leanida (Teders) Bernhardt in Enid, Oklahoma. He was the youngest of three and had two brothers, Bob and Jerry. Don attended high school at Lomega public schools and continued to earn a PharmD from the University of Oklahoma. He was married to Marsha (Waggoner) Bernhardt on May 19th, 1984, and together raised a son, Nathan and step-children, Jerry Sylvestor and Byron Sylvestor.
Don was known for his love of rock music and enjoyed sharing his art with friends and family. He was witty in his dialogue and could always brighten the mood with an unwavering sense of humor. Don valued education, creativity, hard work, and family. He enjoyed playing with his granddaughters and was a loving father.
Don is preceded in death by his father, George; mother, Leonida; and brother, Bob. He leaves behind his son, Nathan; brother, Jerry; step-children, Jerry, Byron, former wife Marsha, and many more friends and family. A memorial service will be April 30th at 11:00 am at Sanders Funeral Service Chapel.
