Dennis Gruntmeir, 72, passed away April 13, 2024. Dennis was born February 10, 1952, in Okarche to Frank and Clara (Mueggenborg) Gruntmeir.

Dennis retired after a long career with Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad. He was an avid reader and enjoyed farming, riding motorcycles and spending time with friends.

He graduated from Kingfisher High School in May 1970.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Edward Gruntmeir and twin brother, David Gruntmeir.

Dennis is survived by his wife Neta Kennedy of Kingfisher.

He is also survived by siblings Joseph Gruntmeir and wife Karen of Shawnee, Linda Gruntmeir of Kingfisher, David's wife Pam Gruntmeir of Piedmont, Luis Gruntmeir and wife Renee of Edmond and Kevin Gruntmeir and wife Cindy of Kingfisher.

He leaves behind 11 nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 19 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with burial following at the Kingfisher Cemetery.
