Dena V. Starr Norwood passed away Nov. 3, 2022. She was born March 2, 1950 in Kingfisher, OK to Roy S. Starr Sr. and Esther M. (Rednose) Starr. She attended Kingfisher High School where she was a member of the Indian Club. She married Leslie Glendale Norwood. Her hobbies included playing bingo, playing cards and even fishing.
She is survived by her daughter, E. Lynn Starr of El Reno, OK; Son, Joseph D. Starr of El Reno, OK; 8 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leslie G. Norwood; daughter, Christa Y. Starr; 5 brothers and 4 sisters.
A wake will be held at 6:00pm, Wednesday, Nov. 9 at Concho Community Center.
Services for Dena will be 10:00am, Thursday, Nov. 10 at Concho Community Center with burial following at Kingfisher Cemetery.
An afternoon dinner will be served after the burial at Concho Response Center.
