Michael was born in Bartlesville, OK on June 21, 1981. He grew up in the Bartlesville/Dewey area and later moved to the Grand Lake area. His parents owned and operated a café called Michaels Hamburger on Monkey Island. He then moved to the Guthrie area working mostly in the Oilfield Industry. Michael would give the shirt off of his back to a total stranger, with in a moment a friendship was started. Michael had a kind heart. He loved the Lord and his family with all of his heart.
Michael is survived by his two children, Koda Middleton, wife Serena and infant son Forrest of Stigler, OK and Alyssa Priest of Cushing, OK; mother, Dianna Jean Priest of Cashion, OK; brother, Mark and wife Teresa of Dewey, OK; brother, John and wife Teresa Priest of Kingfisher, OK; brother, Mat Priest of Las Vegas, OK; niece, Ashley and husband Mike Cook, Madison and Ethan of Claremore, OK; Niece, Kristin and husband Michael Hall, Haydon, Kyler and Alyvia Overturff of Cashion, OK; nephew, Casey Priest and wife Naomi, Jaxon and Mila; and numerous cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Jimmie Joe Priest and brother, Lukius Priest. A memorial service will be held at 10:00am, April 24, 2021 at the Guthrie First Assembly Church in Guthrie with pastor Mike Gatlin presiding.
