Danny Lewis
Randall
Feb 1, 1953 — Oct 2, 2023
Danny Lewis Randall was a loving husband, father, and friend. He left this world on October 2, 2023.
He was born February 1, 1953. He graduated from Valiant High School and was proud to be a Bulldog. From High School he joined the United States Army where he served until 1976. He received the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and the Sharpshooter M16.
Danny's love for the great outdoors was evident in his long list of hobbies. He enjoyed hiking, hunting, and fishing. He felt closest to the Lord out in God's creation and loved to camp in any season. Danny also liked to work with leather, making gun holsters, belts, and rifle straps. He made model military tanks and planes, a hobby which started when he was a young boy. He spent many nights reloading his own bullets, sharpening knives, and cleaning guns, especially when one of his daughters brought home a date. He also loved music and had a fantastic collection of Hawaiian shirts which were complimented frequently by the nurses and doctors who cared so well for him. If you had a jeep, you would have found a duck on the door. He also had spectacular collections and funny sense of humor where his sarcasm was loved by family and friends. Finally, Danny loved a good road trip with his dog, Oden, especially if it ended with dessert.
Danny worked for Smith and Nephew in Oklahoma City where he was proud to work on surgical cameras. Every summer they hosted trips to ballgames and Frontier city where families enjoyed time together fellowshipping. For thanksgiving the company always gave out hams. He was still wearing those Smith and Nephew t-shirts.
Danny is survived by his wife, Yufang; three daughters, Candace Prewitt, Brandy Ayers and Cassandra Delaplain; four grandchildren, Kaylee, Lola, Jayden and Lynora; sister, Linda Gould; brother, Robert Randall; and numerous nieces and nephews. Danny loved his family and was very proud of them.
He was pre-deceased by his father, Earl Randall; Mother, Vila Randall, and sister Patricia Sue Shah.
Services for Danny will be 2:00pm, Friday, October 6th at Sanders Funeral Service Chapel with interment following at Altona Cemetery.
