Cleola "Punky" Maxwell went to her Lord and Savior August 9, 2019 at age 84. She was born September 3, 1934 to Rufus and Emma Vilhauer of Loyal, Oklahoma. She was raised on the family farm and on May 25, 1952 she married Alfred Maxwell her high school sweetheart. They farmed together on their farm east of Loyal. Granny, as she was always called, was known for her unconditional love and amazing pies. No matter what she baked or made it was always delicious. Granny loved to go fishing with PoPo and no matter who you were she would feed you. She loved her Thunder basketball team and the Lomega Raiders! She was president of U.M.W in her lifelong church, Loyal United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her daughter of the home Audrey Maxwell, Debbie Westphal and husband John of Loyal, Rodney Maxwell and wife Dawn of Little Elm, Texas. Grandchildren Dustin Westphal and wife Brandi of El Reno, OK., Trisha Chestnut and husband Joey of Loyal OK., Kandice Ahlberg and husband Nate of Pflugerville, TX., Karlee Maxwell and Tashawn Littlejohn of Little Elm, TX., Natalee Maxwell of Little Elm, TX., Cara Maxwell of Oklahoma City, OK., 15 great grandchildren, sisters Cody Brinkmeyer of Yukon, OK., Mary Moelling of Oklahoma City, OK., Brother Jerry Vilhauer and wife Joyce of Stigler, OK., and numerous nieces and nephews.

Granny was preceded in death by her husband Alfred, daughter Sheila, grandson Corey, parents Rufus and Emma Vilhauer, sister LaVaughn Fisher, along with other family members.
