Obituary

Charles Everett Homier was born July 15, 1948, to Edward Newton Homier and Billie Mae Homier in Enid, Ok. He passed from this life on June 2, 2026, at Cimarron Nursing Center at the age of 77.

Everett attended grade school at Hennessey and Lacey and graduated high school from Cashion in 1966. After graduation, he had a hay hauling business also working for local farmers until starting his career in the oilfield. Everett worked in the oilfield for many years being especially proud of being in 49 of 50 states and Canada and Mexico. Later on, he retired to Fort Cobb Lake spending time helping neighbors and friends or anyone who might need help.

Everett liked to fish, shoot pool, throw darts, and singing Karaoke at which he was pretty good. Throughout his life, he never met a stranger, making friends wherever he was.

Everett was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Billie Homier; son, Sergeant 1st Class Sam Homier of whom Everett was so proud of his service to our nation; one cousin; one niece and two nephews.

Everett is survived by 2 granddaughters, Briann Homier of Mustang and Brittany Homier of Oklahoma City; sister, Linda Ross; brothers, Roy Homier and wife Barbara and Danny Homier and wife Tammie all of Kingfisher; daughter-in-law, Dana Homier of Oklahoma City and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to all Everett's extended family at Cimarron Nursing Center for all their love and devotion to Pops over the last four years. The family would like for you to always remember Everett always played hard, worked hard and lived hard.
