CARL A. HORNE

Carl A. Horne, age 60, a resident of Kingfisher, Oklahoma, passed away unexpectedly on February 22, 2021.

He was born in Sonora, Texas on June 12, 1961 to William R. Horne and Cena "Faye" Morris Horne.

He was an avid fisherman. He loved to fish anywhere, especially for catfish, whether it was with a rod or hand noodling.

He grew up in Lordsburg, New Mexico and graduated from Lordsburg High School in May of 1978. He moved to Kingfisher shortly thereafter and worked at IGA grocery store for many years. When an injury ended his work career he dedicated the rest of his life to fishing, hunting, and helping friends and family.

Carl is preceded in death by his father, William R Horne, in 1996 , his mother, Faye Horne, in 2011, his baby sister, RoseMary, in 1966, and nephew B.J. Overturf, in 1993.

He is survived by his brothers, Keith Horne of Kingfisher, Ok, and John Horne and wife Kathy , of Twin Falls, Idaho; his sisters Carolyn Horne of Kingfisher, Ok, Ruth Vick of Los Lunas, NM, Linda Clanton, of St. Johns, Az, and Sharon Horne, of Hennessey, OK. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins.

There will be no private viewing or funeral services. Carl will be cremated and buried next to his mother in Kingfisher, OK. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.  Services are being handled by Sanders Funeral Service, Kingfisher, OK.
