Obituary

On May 15, the greatest man we know, gained his angel wings, doing what he loved best, playing golf with his best friend of over 50 years, Jeff Farrell.

Carey Dale Dysart (CD) was born April 24, 1961 in Amarillo Texas to Sharon (Evans Dysart Warren) Bakie and De Dysart. His Sissy, Cheryl, joined him in Oct 1962, and Little Chump, Nicco, completed the sibling circle in 1972. He was his Sissy's lifetime best friend, and he taught Nicco how to play 'green army men' and let him tag along to play football with the guys. He was truly the best big bubby. Plus, no one could make our mom laugh like CD.

CD was active in football all through school. He was 'big man' on Kingfisher High School campus. Everyone loved CD. His friend base was endless. In 1980 he married Laura (McDonald) Hinkie and together they had two sons, Chet Austin & Jonathan Dent. Chet and Dent were his greatest joy. He reveled in being a very proud dad. CD was deeply involved in every sport his boys were in. He never missed a game they played in, often being part of the coaching staff. He lived through his boys. He cherished all the kids in his life whether that be the ones he interacted with in the youth group in Marlow Ok, or the countless ones in and out of the house with his sons. While in Marlow, CD was a choir member at the First United Methodist Church, He was also a longtime youth coordinator at the church. CD was president of Redbud Baseball League and president of Eddie Palmer Baseball League.

The highlight of CD's world were his grandkids… He was "Pops" to Cohen, Blair, Benlee, Annleigh Dawn and "Chocolate" to Korbyn and Beck Broddle. He waited his whole life for grandbabies. They lit up his world. He loved and cherished those babies with his entire heart and soul.

His humor and laughter was unmatched. He always had big ready smile, quick wit and one of the best personalities of anyone we know. He was the family historian and patriarch. He took that job seriously. He was a master at the grill and he loved a fierce game of cards with the entire family around the table.

CD is survived by his boys Chet Dysart (Elizabeth) and Dent Dysart. He is also survived by his grieving mother, Sharon Bakie (Bob) as well as devastated siblings, Cheryl Plummer (Scott) and Nicco Warren (Heather). His nephews and niece, Cody Andrews (Liz), Brandon Andrews (Kelsey, children Avery & Ace), Mackenzie Warren and Brenton Warren will greatly miss their Uncle Chump. CD is also survived by his heartbroken girlfriend, Julie Broddle and her children, Jason and Jordan. He leaves behind his best friend, his greatest golf buddy, Jeff Farrell. He also leaves behind great Marlow friends, Tony Fincher, Pat Davis, Mike Jones as well as others. He leaves behind a great crew at Rother Brothers, led by James Farrell. He is also survived by several loving cousins, Aunt Gayle and Uncle Haven. Preceding him in death were His dad, De Dysart, his bonus dad, Pete Warren, grandparents Dale and Reba Evans, Norman & Vircie Dysart.

Whether he was on the golf course or on the ski slopes, CD lived life to the fullest.
CD will be forever missed. He's not gone…. he's just on a 'little scenic detour'
