Bonnie Lou Damron, 80, of Kingfisher, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on May 8, 2023 surrounded by her family.
Bonnie was born on August 27, 1942 to Luther Lem and Audie Riley in Jacksboro, Texas. After school, Bonnie married the love of her life Marvin Damron on March 4, 1958, and were married until his death in January 2010.
Bonnie worked for Pioneer Telephone for over 10 years before retiring to spend time working in her garden, cooking, sewing and spending time with her family.
Bonnie also enjoyed volunteering at the Kingfisher Mercy gift shop with her "sister" Sue Robison and would joke about how she loved that because she could shop and volunteer at the same time.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers; 2sisters; her son, Ronnie Leon and her husband, Marvin.
Bonnie is survived by her 2 sons, Marvin (Glenn) and his wife Tammy Damron of Yukon, OK and Russell Damron of Meeker, OK. She found it so easy to share her heart and loving arms with her many grandchildren, Alicia of Prague, OK, Bethany of Meeker, OK, Courtney of Chandler, OK and Christopher of Oklahoma City, OK.
Bonnie found even more love in her great grandchildren, Isaac, Noah, Maelee, Micah, Maddyx, Hunter, and Michael Damron.
She is also survived by her only remaining brother, John and his wife Sharllotte Ann Riley, among several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Bonnie's life will be celebrated by family and friends, Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 9:00am at Sanders Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Oakwood Cemetery in Jacksboro, TX, Friday May 12, 2023 at 2pm.
