Obituary

Beverlee Ann Brady, 72, of Kingfisher, passed away and went to be with the Lord, her parents, and son Kasey Tuesday November 5, 2019, following a hard fought battle with Leukemia. Beverlee was born April 21, 1947 in Enid to her parents Boyd "Bud" and Vera Turner of Loyal. She attended school in Loyal with her younger brother Ed "Bub" and younger sister Sherri. She graduated from Loyal to attend Business College in Kanas City, Missouri. Following graduation Bev accepted a job with TWA airlines, where she traveled abroad. Some years later she returned to Oklahoma, where she met and married Kenny Brady. The couple had 2 sons: Kennt in 1979 and Kasey in 1982. The couple later divorced and Bev moved back to Kingfisher with her sons, where Beverlee began her 33 year career with Pioneer Telephone Cooperative, retiring in 2014.

Bev's boys kept her very busy for many years with various sports activities. She was always their biggest fan and never missed an event to cheer on her boys. Everyone that met Bev learned that she was a vocal person who always spoke her mind. You knew where you stood with Bev always.

On October 16, 2004 Kennt married Jennifer (Oppel) Brady and Bev happily welcomed her daughter-in-law to the family. In 2008, after Bev's requests and wishes, she was blessed with her first granddaughter, Katelynn "Katie." This filled Bev with much joy and started a new, cherished adventure in her life. In 2013, Bev gladly welcomed the arrival of her second granddaughter, Kortnee. Her two grandbabies truly were the loves of her life and her two best buddies. This trio enjoyed many activities together and were often inseparable. As her two girls began participating in sports, Bev was always there to cheer them on too! She loved it. Beverlee also enjoyed attending and watching various shows and plays, along with OU and Thunder basketball games with her family and close friends. To say that Bev will be missed, is an incredible understatement.

Beverlee is survived by her son Kennt, his wife Jennifer, and their daughters Katie and Kortnee. She is also survived by her brother Ed Turner and his wife Jan, her younger sister Sherri and her husband Dave, as well as many close friends, cousins, nephews and nieces. Bev was proceeded in death by her son Kasey, her parents Bud and Vera Turner, and by other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Oklahoma Chapter or towards cancer research.

A Memorial Graveside service will be held Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 2 pm at the Kingfisher Cemetery.
