Ron and his family mourns the passing of Barbara, a woman whose heart echoed with the hymns of angels and whose smile warmed the lives of countless souls. Barbara, our beloved Wife, Mother and Pastors wife entered into eternal rest on December 21st, 2023, leaving behind a symphony of memories played out in acts of kindness, boundless creativity, and unwavering faith. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Bruner; children, Steven Bruner, Albert and Rebecca Napolitano; four grandchildren, Alexis Ragsdale, Natalie White, Zylyn Napolitano and Jelleisha Napolitano; one Great Grandchild, Oakley White; three brothers, Thomas and Dawn Miller, Phillip and Carolyn Miller, & Joe Miller; Sister-in-law, Sue Miller.

Preceded in death by parents, Ples and Luetta Miller, and beloved brother, Bruce Miller.

Born on October 30th, 1948, in Brawley California, Barbara carried within her a spirit that danced to the rhythm of life. Her artistic fingers wove the love of Christ in many ways. Through balloon releases, Valentines parties, Baby Showers, wedding showers, weddings, God and Country days, slide shows, lead children's church, Super Bowl parties, created one of a kind announcements for the foyer, women's nights, women's conferences, Easter Sunday specials, Fall Fest, reef making, Christmas sweat shirt making, parade floats, created her own VBS literature, taught Sunday school in the nursing homes, directed and taught the National Girls Ministries, took teens and children to summer camps, and youth to youth conferences, created plays with stunning and breath taking sets like Stranger in a Manger, and Heaven or Hell. She loved to transform a blank canvas into a masterpiece, not only with paint but with people, because she could see the potential they had.

Music flowed through her veins, finding voice in the rich melodies of her bass guitar, and piano playing. She resonated with the harmonies of life by singing in three trios in her home church and continued singing in many worship services and special duets with her beloved husband Ron. But Barbara's greatest creation was the warmth she showered upon everyone she met. Her smile, like a ray of sunshine, dispelled shadows and illuminated paths. Her prayer specialty was praying for lost items, but no matter the location Barbara would stop and pray for you or with you no matter how big or small the problem. Her laughter, tinkling like wind chimes in a gentle breeze, carried the music of her soul. Her compassion, a bottomless well, offered solace and support to all who sought it. Alongside her husband, Pastor Ron, Barbara served as a pillar of the Kingfisher community. Her 45 years dedication to the church went beyond mere service; it was an outpouring of her faith, a tapestry woven with acts of kindness, tireless volunteerism, and unwavering support. She opened her heart and home, offering a haven for countless gatherings, celebrations, and moments of quiet reflection.

Barbara leaves behind a legacy not etched in stone but imprinted on the hearts of those who knew her. Her life, a vibrant hymn of creativity, faith, and love, continues to resonate in the laughter of children, the melodies of her favorite hymns, and the warmth of a shared meal. Though tears may fall for what we have lost, let us remember the joy Barbara brought to the world. Let us celebrate her life by carrying her spirit within us, spreading her infectious smile, and continuing the song of love and kindness that was her life's masterpiece. May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the music of angels and the love of the God she so faithfully served.

Services for Barbara will be 2pm, Tuesday, Dec. 26, at First Assembly of God in Kingfisher. A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday, Dec. 27 at Yarnaby Cemetery in Hendrix, OK.
